An error occurs when EmFTP tries to connect to a server.
Make sure the URL, the user name, and the password are correct. If you connect from a saved configuration, select the Properties for Current Configuration command, and verify the account information in the Configuration Properties. If you connect from the Quick Connect Bar, the information is entered from the Quick Connect Bar. You can also verify the port number, the passive mode, and SFTP.
I forgot a password. Can I find the password from EmFTP configurations?
Passwords are encrypted by a key unique to a computer and a user account. The password cannot be obtained from the encrypted information.
The connection is interrupted when idle.
The connection is interrupted when there is no activity for a certain time of period depending on the server configurations. To prevent this, the Advanced tab of Configuration Properties allows you to check the Keep Alive check box and to set a command to keep alive.
